Pumpkin Decade

TEN YEARS, can you believe it? Someday it will seem but a drop in the bucket, I know...but I remember vividly those " Where will you be in 10?" questions, and I never really knew But I am glad you held the doughnuts and glad you finally asked and most of all I am glad that my last 10 has included you. Ten years ago today... Little Man Yellow (incidentally matching that notorious nail polish) Villa Europa (the first of many occasions in which you'd help me make up my mind) & ( beating you . . . i know, i know you let me (not) The Devil's Advocate (what an omen that turned out to be!) (I'd have posted a video clip here, if it wasn't such a trashy movie that you took me to :) and the best promise I never kept: "Just one date..." Call Back

Chandler got his first call back- he's to be an orphan in SCT's "Oliver!" The kids went to their first ever auditions last week, in which they had to sing & dance. Both were a little timid, but only because it was new and so many people around... they have no shame amongst family :) Chan is already toying with the idea of being a professional comedian (heaven help us!) and wants to know how to become one of those lucky kids on t.v. He embraces this idea fully and even adds " I won't be far from the house, but I'll just hang out in the yard and I can dig in the trash, please keep the police from getting...

But if that hadn't been the case- if I were still a native Dawgs fan, I would consider Sanford Stadium an excellent homeland to make fall football pilgrimages to. Athens was a lot of fun. To be honest, I am not there for the game... I am there for funnel cakes, Bavarian cashews, and the quiet sport of people watching. The only person I cheer audibly is the cotton candy vendor " One more flight...You Can Do It!... I Can Tip !!" And in that arena, Athens was on top of their ga...
